Hi, my name is Michael, but most of the people who know me call me "Mike". I'm a first year college student at cuyamaca college starting on my career of becoming an architect. ever since I was very young I always liked drawing and painting in the fields of art. my favorite forms of art consist of japanese ink painting, romantacism paintings, still life art, japanese anime, manga, and many forms of traditional artworks. my hobbies are drawing, painting, rock collecting, and speaking in different languages.
Most of my art consists of traditional art pieces and illustrations.

Hey, had fun at club. Still haven't figured out the next date it will be one. This isn't the norm...Club is usually every third Saturday of the month. Due to most of our members being High schoolers and prom is on that date. It needs to be changed/ Once I get a hold of the chick from the library and figure out a date. I'll let you know.

Thanks for telling me the info , I greatly appreciate it! I had a good time at the club.^_^
Also, if it is alright with you, I would like to discuss a little about some ideas I have for activities of the club. Since it is an anime club, I was thinking it might be good if, we all could bring in a monthly "self-published original story"(1 chapter every month) and have everyone go over and critique each-others Artwork and story. I think this would bring something interesting to the table, and cultivate a further appreciation/interest for anime/manga. What do you think?

As in a chapter a week, do you mean we all create an idea or theme for a story and each write a one-shot? Or do you mean we create the base of an ongoing story that we each add on to?

If you could bring a sheet of other club activities as well this coming club meeting, that would be great.

I had suggested at the club meeting in Jan that we create a (board/card or both) game and that's why I brought all those supplies(pizza boxes,markers, manual guide on how to make a game). But it didn't pan out due to the person who works there not showing up at last club and two other members having ideas they didn't share through the Facebook page.

This time around however, I wish to get everyone's intentions/ideas and the like all out before club ends. You know, so I won't be relying on the other person in case she/he doesn't show up again.

The date for next club is undecided though it's looking like it might not happen until May. I'm trying to get it on the fourth week of April(the 27th). I'm told that's the car show weekend and parking will be terrible, I don't particularly care because there is a car show going on every weekend in the summer(well seems like anyway).

Thanks for telling me. I live right here in town and I know how annoying the car show can be. All the streets get blocked and no one can go anywhere. That aside , in terms of "one chapter" I was thinking it could be either one. Everyone can choose which one they want to make. Although the basis on the originality of the story, and how it will draw in the reader will be important in the critique. The art will be important to but, in the beginning, if anyone has any difficulty with drawing. the critiques will benefit them and help them get better at it. I will bring a list of more ideas, at the next meeting.I cant wait to be there.
